"It annoyed me that the new products often only looked more sustainable and for the first time in my life I was confronted with "greenwashing". All attempts to get the marketing departments of big corporations excited about more sustainable packaging types were unsuccessful and I made the following decision:
I no longer want to stand by and watch idly, but rather make my own contribution to a greener future. For the impacts of overconsumption are becoming increasingly noticeable and must be taken seriously. What has hitherto been produced and consumed without a second thought is endangering our lives on Earth. The future lies in our hands – we bear the ecological, social and economic responsibility for our actions."
