Four weeks ago we opened the doors of our new Creative Hub Bremen open at Pelzerstraße 40 – and a huge amount has happened since then. In a short space of time, the hub has developed into a vibrant place for exchange, creative ideas, collaboration and business start-ups.
Even back in the old Creative Hub in the children's hospital, it was clear that the demand for open, inspiring spaces in Bremen is high. Since then, a wide variety of people have been using the hub every day – for working, networking, developing ideas, exchanging views or simply to be part of the community. From founders and creatives to initiatives and students: the new hub brings together people who want to make things happen.
In the past four weeks, numerous Workshops, meetings, community gatherings and creative sessions instead. The workshop spaces were used intensively, first projects have emerged and new collaborations have been initiated. It is particularly nice to see that many visitors now drop by regularly and actively use the hub as a place to work and meet.
Our open coworking spaces, the recording lab, the motion lab and the meeting point have also already been brought to life. Spontaneous conversations, new contacts and shared ideas are constantly emerging – exactly what we had hoped for this place.

A special highlight was the many different people and perspectives that shaped the hub in the first few weeks. The Creative Hub simply shows just how important accessible spaces are for innovation, creativity and networking.
There was also a lot of positive feedback from the community:
„It feels as though central Bremen finally has a place where you can just crack on.“
„I'm actually only dropping in for a meeting – and leave every time with new ideas or contacts.“
„The atmosphere is totally motivating. You can tell that a lot of people are coming together here who really want to make a difference.“
„The hub is not just a space, but a meeting point for exchange and mutual support.“
Alongside the events, a lot of development also took place behind the scenes: new formats were planned, collaborations were established and ideas were gathered on how the hub can continue to grow together with the community. Because the Creative Hub is not meant to be a fixed concept, but a place that evolves alongside the people who use it.
After the first four weeks, we can say: the launch was intense, inspiring and full of energy. In the coming months, further workshops, community events, networking formats and new opportunities to actively help shape the hub will follow.
Thanks to everyone who has been there in the first weeks, filled the place with life and are part of this growing community.
We look forward to everything that is yet to come – and to all the ideas that will be created here in the future.
