On 25th February, everything at the Visionskultur CoLab revolved around a topic that many self-employed people like to put off – and yet is essential for business success: accounting.
With 12 participants, the workshop was intensive, hands-on and full of lightbulb moments. Led by Webmen we dived deep into the world of numbers, data and facts – explained clearly, structured logically and ready for immediate application.
Understanding bookkeeping instead of fearing it
Whether cash basis accounting, receipt organisation or tax fundamentals – it quickly became clear that bookkeeping is not a necessary evil, but a strategic management tool. Those who know their figures make better decisions.
Webmen managed to make complex concepts tangible. Instead of dry theory, there were concrete examples from everyday business life. Questions were explicitly encouraged – and answered in a practical way.
Practical and interactive
The group participated actively, discussed individual challenges and shared experiences. It was precisely this exchange that made the workshop particularly valuable: different business models bring with them different requirements – and it was precisely this diversity that was reflected in the conversations.
From neat document filing to preparing for the meeting with the tax office: the participants took away concrete to-dos and greater confidence in dealing with their figures.
Conclusion: More clarity, more control
After the workshop, one thing was clear: bookkeeping means clarity. Clarity regarding liquidity, profitability, and growth opportunities.
The workshop at the Visionskultur CoLab showed that numbers are not an obstacle – but a tool. And anyone who learns to use them correctly gains not only an overview, but business control.
