The event offered space for dialogue, perspectives and honest discussions about the opportunities and challenges of migrant start-ups.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Zukunftsschnack - exchange at eye level<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Zukunftsschnack is more than just a classic panel discussion. It is a stage, a meeting place and a think tank all in one. In an open and lively atmosphere, personal experiences met professional expertise - and the audience was right in the middle of it instead of just being there.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Experts from science, business and administration joined founders, committed individuals and interested parties to discuss topics that move our society. The direct participation of the audience made it particularly lively: voices and impulses came spontaneously from the room - honest, diverse and enriching. This turned listening into co-creation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visionskultur provides the largest community of founders and people with start-up ideas with low-threshold and multilingual access to advice, coaching, infrastructure and space at the Creative Hub Bremen start-up centre. Migrant start-ups have always played a major role here. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The evening at a glance<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After a welcome by <strong>Hachem Gharbi<\/strong>Managing Director of Visionskultur, himself a migrant founder and moderator of the evening, the discussion began at 6.15 pm. Also present:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prof Dr Mayank Kumar Golpelwar, Bremen University of Applied Sciences&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Nadezhda Milanova, Migration and Integration Officer of the State of Bremen&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Augusto Capece, Serial Entrepreneur&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Rezi Chikviladze, Managing Director Syniotec&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mariya Staykova, tax consultant and board member of KLUB DIALOG e.V.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"4209\" src=\"https:\/\/vskultur.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/85-2025-09-23_Froelichs_philippeigner.com_085-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4209\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"4216\" src=\"https:\/\/vskultur.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/110-2025-09-23_Froelichs_philippeigner.com_110-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4216\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"4205\" src=\"https:\/\/vskultur.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/57-2025-09-23_Froelichs_philippeigner.com_057-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4205\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"4210\" src=\"https:\/\/vskultur.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/105-2025-09-23_Froelichs_philippeigner.com_105-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4210\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"4215\" src=\"https:\/\/vskultur.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/80-2025-09-23_Froelichs_philippeigner.com_080-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4215\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"4213\" src=\"https:\/\/vskultur.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/122-2025-09-23_Froelichs_philippeigner.com_122-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4213\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Challenges and opportunities for migrant start-ups<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The guests shed light on the topic from different perspectives and emphasised how complex the reality of migrant founders is.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Risk-taking as a strength:<\/strong> Prof Dr Golpelwar emphasised that people with a history of migration often have a greater willingness to take risks - a valuable characteristic in the start-up context.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Political participation:<\/strong> Augusto Capece spoke in favour of actively involving migrant founders in economic policy working groups.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Understanding the system is key:<\/strong> Mariya Staykova emphasised how important it is to understand the structures of the German system and to actively integrate.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Thinking about migration:<\/strong> Nadezhda Milanova emphasised that we must always consider the topic of migration in all subject areas - also in order to increase opportunities and remove existing barriers.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Bureaucratic stumbling blocks:<\/strong> Rezi Chikviladze reported on bureaucratic hurdles that can lead to mistakes, especially in the initial phase, and make the start-up process more difficult.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What motivates migrant founders<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key challenges were openly addressed:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Systemic hurdles and bureaucratic processes&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Complex tax requirements&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Language barriers when dealing with authorities&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>An impulse from the audience suggested considering the introduction of a second official language - English, for example - to facilitate access.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The topic of funding was also critically analysed. While there is a perception that it is more difficult for migrants to obtain funding or loans, it was also emphasised that there are many offers in Germany - but that these need to be made more low-threshold and accessible in order to have a real impact.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Why the topic matters<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A start-up is more than just a business plan. It is an expression of self-determination, creativity and social participation.
