FAQ

A non-profit organisation

An initiative to promote the location

A community of start-ups, solo freelancers, associations, artists and people with ideas, to whom we offer an environment in which they can try things out without risk

We develop and organise creative spaces and places for the (further) development of ideas, companies and projects

We accompany projects and help to achieve goals pragmatically: Through consulting and coaching, networking, our own expertise or an interface to our network partners from all over Bremen

We offer our members free workshops on exciting topics relating to their own projects - from brainstorming to founding and marketing, there is something for everyone: knowledge for free!

Regular community events

We also provide operational support with promotional work, marketing, conceptualisation and press & public relations

In addition, all our members have the opportunity to book and use our seminar, conference and meeting rooms free of charge on an hourly or daily basis

We also offer workplaces. Simply grab your laptop and drop by every day - a desk, chair and internet are always available!

Our community is worth its weight in gold. Networking in individual clusters, exchange and joint realisation of ideas as well as competent knowledge transfer.

And as the icing on the cake, there is even the opportunity to apply for your own space. At the creative and innovation centre Creative Hub Bremen, you have the chance to apply for a 100%-funded space. Whether, for example, a shared studio for artistsWhether it's an indoor space, a workshop, a shared office or your very own premises, we make it possible. The hub also offers various communal areas, such as stages, media rooms and galleries, as well as regular events and opportunities for dialogue - with other projects or partnersfrom our network of universities, companies, institutions and organisations.

If your project is already a little more advanced, you can move to the Creative Spaces. Here, the spaces are decentralised throughout the city and can be tailored to your needs in the long term.

There's always someone who knows someone. Or someone who knows how to do something because they've done it before. Our community is strong. And offers a real range. From improv theatre to fashion labels, from cultural associations to sculptors, from drone makersinside as a product developerin. Our community projects and members will be happy to help you with any questions. But there are also services just around the corner, from photographerinside to designerinside. In addition, there is a free and transdisciplinary exchange of knowledge, as with the universities, companies and institutions in the state of Bremen!

The Creative Hub is our headquarters. A vibrant centre. The "home" of hundreds of projects. And when the pandemic isn't raging, there's plenty to see and experience. Most of the projects are based here. ArtistsThe hub is also the venue for events. We can say with a clear conscience that the Creative Hub is the hotspot for start-ups, entrepreneursartists and associations in Bremen.

The Creative Spaces work according to the satellite principle. They are additional, subsidised spaces in Bremen that members can apply for in advanced phases.

The "Apply" section on our website has been set up for this purpose. We select our members carefully and especially love projects that we can help and that want to give something back to our community.

As a member, you can also apply directly for our special funding programmes! The form can also be found on our website under "Apply"!

We distinguish between three phases.
Phase 1: You have an idea. Or several ideas. You are at the very beginning of this new chapter for you. You have neither founded your company nor do you have a concrete concept that you can implement immediately. But you are full of motivation to get started.
Phase 2: You are in the thick of it. Your project is more than just an idea. You tell everyone who will listen about your project and you already have something to show. You have a prototype, a first version, or concrete plans that you are currently realising.
Phase 3: You have founded your company, are already offering your product or service and have achieved your first successes. Of course you also have obstacles to overcome, but on the whole your project has already taken off and is flying... no matter what altitude.

For all those who know that they want to do something and have a rough idea of the direction they want to take, we offer a safe framework for testing things, experimenting and looking around. We offer the opportunity to be inspired by a community and the many projects. We categorise this state under "Phase 1", because our community benefits from every creative mind!

Applications can be submitted via our homepage. We have prepared a form with a few questions to help you better understand the ideas and project. Anyone can become a member, we are happy to welcome new members!

How can I support a vision culture?

Visionskultur is a non-profit organisation and is therefore dependent on support and funding. The purpose of our statutes is to promote innovation and start-ups. We also focus on strengthening Bremen as a business location.

After the application via our website, we get back to you with feedback and initiate the next steps together with the applicant. Finally, there will be an admissions interview in which final questions and formalities are discussed and the community has gained a new member of Visionskultur!

We differentiate between project and supporting membership. Sponsoring membership is free to choose and has no cost points. In order to organise project membership fairly, we focus on the project phase (1 to 3).

We recommend a membership fee of EUR 20 for project phase 1, EUR 30 for project phase 2 and EUR 50 per month for the third project phase. Please note that we offer a discount of 50 % on membership for non-profit, non-commercial, SOLO self-employed, pupils, students and senior citizens.
