Successful learning with AD(H)S
- Are you a parent and your child has ADD or ADHD? The learning and homework situation is pushing you to your limits? Would you like to learn new ways of dealing with your child's frustrations? Would you like to reflect on your role in learning and homework situations?
- Are you a teacher or educational specialist and wondering how you can effectively support children and young people with AD(H)S in the classroom?
As a parent, I will provide you with strategies for successful learning with AD(H)S so that you and your child can have a relaxed time at school together. As a teacher or educational specialist, you will receive many useful tips for everyday teaching. For example, you will learn how to promote concentrated work in class and how to deal sensibly with hyperactive-impulsive behaviour.
Growing together with AD(H)S - mastering conflicts, strengthening relationships
- Does your child have ADD or ADHD? Do you have frequent discussions and conflicts in everyday family life?
- Are everyday tasks and routines disproportionately challenging for you as a parent?
- Does your child have a low frustration tolerance? Is it prone to excessive emotional reactions? Frequent outbursts of anger or tears are part of everyday life?
- Is your child unable to concentrate well on a game or a task?
- Do they find it difficult to organise themselves, do they regularly lose or misplace things?
These and other behaviours pose particular challenges for you as parents. I support you in overcoming these challenges in living together as a family and strengthening your relationship with your child.
