BackgroundWhy does green feel good? Today, it is barely possible to escape the issues of climate change, species extinction or the sealing of land. What can it mean to feel, think and act "green"? Economy, industry, agriculture, urban development and we ourselves are parts of a complex world in which it is often difficult to make the right decisions. The planned exhibition aims to show interesting perspectives on these challenges, their causes and potential solutions. Works or projects from the fields of nature, the environment, climate, sustainability or similar can be submitted, e.g., parks and gardens, climate-friendly urban architecture, transport transition ideas, urban biotopes and more.

ExhibitionThe "Green" exhibition is being held in the ground floor gallery area of the Creative Hub Bremen shown. Each participant can register with two Promoting the objects. The exhibition spaces are allocated by the curator. The participation fee is €10 per participant for promotion and drinks at the opening.

ApplicationInterested participants can register until 24/05/2023 with heike.seyffarth@gmx.de apply with the following information:

1. Illustration of the objects that could be shown in the exhibition (image as jpg, attachment or download link) including title.
2. Brief explanation of why the object fits well into the "Green" exhibition. This information serves as the basis for selection as well as for the labelling of the works.
3. Contact information & if applicable link to the website for publication during the exhibition.

Schedule:

• 24.05.2023: Closing date for applications
• 27.05.2023: Notification of applicants regarding accepted works
• 03.07.2023: 6pm - 7pm: Delivery of the ready-to-hang exhibits
• 07.07.2023: 6:00 pm Exhibition opening
• 28.09.2023: Last day of the exhibition, possibly a closing event

Important / small print: By submitting an application, participants declare

1. to hold the appropriate image rights for submitted pictures
2. your consent to the use of the image material for promotional purposes
3. agreement to the insurance situation (the exhibits are not insured due to the premises)
4. consent to the use of personal data
5. consent to being included in a joint mailing list of exhibitors.
