That is the motto of the solidarity farming organisation (Solawi) in Riede. Vegetables and fruit are grown and harvested on their farm all year round according to season. Customers can pick up this variety of healthy delicacies every week from one of the many depots in Bremen and the Riede area. This means that a two-person household can be supplied with valuable and sustainable vitamins all year round.
In February, you can apply for a harvest share in a bidding round. The special thing about this is that everyone bids as much as they can give. There is a guideline for this. With the money, the farm can be safely managed throughout the year and you get vitamins.
The farm and you go through a year of good and bad times together. If there is a good harvest, there is a lot of fruit and vegetables. Less if the harvest is poor.
Many volunteers and four permanent employees work on the farm, so you can meet members every day from 8 am to 4 pm. Every helping hand, every lover of the countryside or interested gardener is welcome to visit the farm. The action day is particularly suitable on the first Saturday of every month, when the farm is really busy.
