GOOGLE WEB FONTS

This site uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the standardised display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to Google's servers. This informs Google that our website has been accessed via your IP address. 5. NEWSLETTER

In the following passages, we would like to inform you about the content, registration, dispatch, evaluation procedure and right of objection in the context of our newsletter. All Creative Hub Bremen members and co-operation partners automatically receive the newsletter. By subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to receive it and to our privacy policy.

The content of our newsletter relates to events, offers, products, projects and members from the Creative Hub Bremen. We send the newsletter with the help of the mailing service provider Mailchimp and only with the consent of the recipient.

We use a so-called double opt-in procedure for subscriptions to our newsletter. This means that the user receives an e-mail after registration in which the registration is also to be confirmed. This procedure is necessary to prevent registrations with third-party e-mail addresses. In order to fulfil the legal requirements, subscriptions to the newsletter are logged. The time of registration and confirmation as well as the IP address are stored and logged by the mailing service provider Mailchimp. Only the e-mail address is required for registration; data such as first name and surname are not requested.

To send the newsletter, we use the service provider Mailchimp, a newsletter distribution platform of the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. You can find Mailchimp's privacy policy at the following link https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/. The Rocket Science Group LLC d/b/a MailChimp is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus guarantees compliance with the European level of data protection (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000TO6hAAG&status=Active).

Mailchimp may use the data generated by the newsletter in pseudonymous form (it is therefore not possible to assign it to a user) to optimise or improve its services. However, Mailchimp does not use the data generated for other purposes, such as passing the data on to third parties or contacting users directly.
