Training for office management assistant

All apprenticeship positions have already been filled for 2024.

The aim of Visionskultur is to drive innovation development in Bremen in order to promote and network Bremen as a business location. At the same time, we want to help people and organisations with ideas to implement them sustainably.

What you will do here

  • During your apprenticeship, you will learn a wide variety of commercial, administrative and organisational tasks. You will get to know the organisation of a non-profit company and the interaction between the individual operational areas.
  • Your duties therefore include, on the one hand, traditional tasks in the areas of secretarial work, administration and organisation. These include, for example, handling correspondence with members and cooperation partners, or drawing up documents such as user agreements.
  • On the other hand, you will provide support in the booking area and be responsible for organising external events in the CREATIVE HUB.
  • For your work, you use modern office communication systems. We mainly work with Microsoft Teams and our database.
  • In addition, you are entrusted with general office organisation tasks, such as filing and document management, and the preparation and follow-up of appointments.

What you bring to the table

  • You have (almost) got your secondary school leaving certificate or your (vocational) A-levels in the bag and have graduated with good grades in mathematics, German and English. You are also very welcome to join us if you have dropped out of university.
  • You are interested in business contexts and office processes, such as information processing, coordination and organisational tasks, and the management of events.
  • You enjoy working at a PC, take pleasure in dealing with people, and are curious about continually learning new things.
  • When interacting with your colleagues, you are outgoing and are characterised by your friendly manner, your reliability and your quick grasp of things.

What you can expect

  • You receive exciting insights into non-profit work, regional development, and an environment of start-ups and creative professionals.
  • Through practical work experience that ideally complements the theory taught at vocational college, you will receive valuable preparation for your start to working life. During your training with us, we offer you personal mentoring on an equal footing and a young team.
  • Through flexible working hours, partial home office opportunities and trust-based working hours, we enable free and self-determined time management.
  • 25 days holiday as a standard (Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve are also additional days off with us), increasing training allowances per year of training, a discounted public transport season ticket.
  • A dog-friendly office!

The weekly working time is 39 hours. The standard training period is three years.

We value and promote the diversity of our employees' skills and therefore welcome all applications – regardless of age, gender, nationality, ethnic and social origin, religion, belief, disability, as well as sexual orientation and identity. Severely disabled applicants will be given preference in the event of equal suitability.
