The skills shortage has worsened further over the past year. The gap between open positions and available workers has widened further. This trend is likely to intensify in the coming years. Not only are new future tasks, such as tackling climate change, ahead of us and accompanied by a corresponding demand for skilled labour, but we also face the changing demands of new generations. At the same time, the oversupply of open positions offers opportunities for creating new entry pathways into the labour market.
How must we align the regional skilled labour strategy as well as employer-side offerings and access to professions in order to strengthen and further develop the Bremen business location?
Als Teilnehmer*innen unserer Diskussionsrunde werden wir Kai Stührenberg, Staatsrat Arbeit – Andreas Meyer, Hauptgeschäftsführer Handwerkskammer Bremen und Jasmina Heritani, Arbeitsmarktpolitische Sprecherin der SPD-Fraktion und Fachbereichsleitung der VHS Bremen begrüßen.
